In the early fall of 2022, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Game: All Star Battle R came out! It’s well known for its charismatic heroes, striking art style, and memorable catchphrases (“Yare yare daze…”), and fans of the series have been eagerly anticipating it.
With its stunning visuals which are authentic to Hirohiko Araki’s unique art style, this JoJo game captures the over-the-top nature of the series.

The faithful adaptation of JoJo’s World will impress fans of the series and newcomers alike. Its satisfying controls and punchy effects show off each character’s personality right after you pick it up.
All Star Battle R’s source material is true to heart, with half-tone art, snarky dialogue, and references from the first menu. There’s a lot of flash and glamour in All Star Battle, but it doesn’t feel like it has much substance.
Overall, All Star Battle R is a solid one-on-one fighting game with a standard selection of modes.
Multiplayer options is great if you want to play with friends. However, online gameplay can be laggy.
